Department Contest Deadlines
- Winter Season Card entries due Nov. 2, 2007
Winter Season Card Contest - All elementary students can submit
designs for this seasonal card contest. One winning entry
is selected by the superintendent to be used for the district's
holiday card design. The top 100 designs also receive special
recognition.
- District Elementary School Calendar enteries due
May 16,
2008
School Calendar Contest - All elementary students are encouraged
to submit artwork representing the various months of the year.
The top twelve are selected to be posted on the school district's
website Calendar Gallery.
Outstanding entry selections for each month are showcased
at the District Services Center.
- Bob Wand Memorial Entries Due May 9, 2008
Outstanding elementary artwork created during the school year
are submitted for this juried contest. 100 top selections
are displayed and chosen to travel the following school year
as part of this exhibit. Judges also select one exceptional
piece of artwork from this contest as a Purchase Award to
be presented to the Board of Trustees. This recognized piece
becomes a part of the permanent art collection at the District
Services Center.

The Bob Wand Memorial Exhibit is divided into two sets (Set
A & Set B). Each set is sent to different schools which
enables all elementary schools to enjoy art created by students
throughout the District. One of the two-panel sets will be on
exhibit at each elementary school for two weeks to allow students
time to view the outstanding artwork of their peers.
