Art Parents - Why We Teach Art

In these complex and rapidly changing times, the arts are critical to a complete education for all children. Incorporating arts education into our schools is an essential factor in addressing learning styles today. The benefits for our children include better problem-solving skills, critical-thinking skills, and a cooperative learning environment.

Enhancing the opportunity for developing student creativity in acquiring aesthetic judgment occurs in artroom environments. Art broadens the understanding of cultures from all over the world. This expands the knowledge of civilizations past and present and helps develop an appreciation of skills and talents brought to our communities from all corners of the world.
