Students in the Boise District participate
in a variety of assessments during the school year.
Assessments can be National,
State, or District depending on the grade level of
the student.
National:
- NAEP - National Assessment of Educational Progress
- Grades 4, 8, 12
State:
- IRI - Idaho Reading Indicator - Grades K-3
- DWA - Direct Writing Assessment - Grades 5, 7,
9
- DMA - Direct Math Assessment - Grades 4, 6, 8
- IAA - Idaho Alternate Assessment - Qualifying
Special Education students
- ISAT - Idaho Standards Achievement Tests - Grades
3-10
Boise School District:
- CBM - Curriculum Based Measurements - Grades 4-6
- District Writing Assessment - Grades 6, 8, 11
- Math Survey Assessment - Accelerated Math 7th grade

- EOC - End of Course Test (semester common final)

Results and Achievement Data Not all
assessment results are available, but you'll
find recent performance results and data for
many of the assessments listed above, plus results
of ACT and SAT assessments and Advanced Placement
tests.
- No Child Left
Behind Report Cards In accordance with the
requirements of the federal legislation known as
No Child Left Behind (enacted February, 2002),
we publish report cards for each school and for
the District as a whole, incorporating demographic
and achievement information.
