The Boise School District Calendar has been a popular contest in our elementary schools for 21 years. Students in grades K-6 create artwork that celebrates the festivities, holidays, or seasons in a chosen month of the year. We have 1200-1500 entries submitted for judging each year. Since only 13 students have their artwork chosen, the competition is strong and the judging is difficult.

Many of the excellent entries are displayed during summer exhibits at the District Services Center, Capital Educator's Federal Credit Union, and the State Department of Education. Elementary schools represented by our winners: Valley View, Koelsch, Highlands, Horizon, Roosevelt, Adams, Washington, Owyhee-Harbor, Monroe, Cynthia Mann and Longfellow
