Anger Management for Parents and for
Parents

This class is designed to help parents cope
with their anger and/or their child’s
anger in healthy ways. Topics include understanding attitudes and beliefs about
anger, understanding emotions and situations at their root, and anger management
strategies. Basic parenting principles of encouragement, communication, and
positive discipline will also be discussed.

Designed for parents of strong willed or out-of-control
adolescents, this is a highly structured parenting
skills program created to help parents prevent
and intervene in the most destructive of adolescent
behaviors. Will discuss alcohol, drugs, gangs,
discipline, school attendance, and support services.
$25 per family for workbook.

Drug Education
Family Survival Training: At-Risk Instruction
and Support for Parents:
These classes offer information, practical ideas
and support for parents of at-risk teenagers
who may or may not already be involved in substance
abuse. Focus is on information on drugs and effects
of drugs, tips on building student strengths
and improving family relationships, and providing
support for parents.
Student Survival Training for Junior
High and High School Students
Six week closed sessions focus on the physical
and emotional effects of drugs, how to develop
personal strengths, providing support and self-esteem
development.
