Course Description

Open to: 11, 12 One Year Course
Prerequisite: Mathematics in the Workplace 1, Instructor/Counselor Approval
Content: Students will continue focusing on arithmetic operations, problem solving techniques, estimation of answers, measurement skills, geometry, data handling, simple statistics, and the use of algebraic formulas to solve problems. Relatively complex mathematics concepts will be studied from an applications approach with reference to technological skills necessary for skilled occupations and advanced learning.
