Tips for a Successful Catering Event
Early notification will help us to accommodate your orders. One-week's notice is requested for small catering orders. Large catering functions require more than two weeks notice to allow for adequate planning and coordination. When an order is placed for a catered event, please provide a "ballpark" number of people to expect. A guaranteed number of meals must be provided by noon three working days prior to the function. Orders placed, or changes made after this deadline may be subject to an additional charge. Cancellation of an event 24 hours or less prior to service may be billed in full or at a percentage thereof. We are prepared to adjust 5% over and 5% under the number of meals you guarantee, except for pre-made plates or boxes. Your order will be delivered and set-up approximately 15 minutes prior to your serving time. A delivery fee of 10% of the total order (or $5.00 minimum) will be added to all orders that are not at school sites. If requested, Food and Nutrition Services will make arrangements for linen rental. Additional party decorations are the responsibility of your event coordinator. For school events where the kitchen is used, Boise School District Policy requires a Food & Nutrition Services employee to be present. Food & Nutrition Services personnel can not donate their time for an event. An hourly catering fee will be charged. When placing your order, please provide the name, address and telephone number of the person to be billed. After the event, Food and Nutrition Services will bill for the catering services. You may transfer district funds to the Catering Sales Account (Account #0290-41693). You may also pay with cash or check made out to Boise School Food and Nutrition Services - Catering Sales, and send to 8169 West Victory Rd., Boise, ID 83709. All catering prices are subject to change. |

Boise
School Food and Nutrition Services are pleased to provide catering
services for District sponsored events. We are able to provide
services at any District building or off-site where possible
with sufficient notification. There may be limitations to menu
choices depending on your selected location and kitchen equipment
available.
