Welcome to Food & Nutrition Services

We are a department within the Boise School District, providing meals and nutrition education services to the students and faculty of our District.

We provide over 24,000 meals every school day at 48 sites totaling over 4.5 million meals each year.
Our goal is to provide highly nutritious, student friendly, and economical meals.
We participate in the National School Breakfast, National School Lunch, After School Snacks, Special Milk and Summer Feeding Programs.
In accordance with Federal regulation, meals are available for free and reduced rates to families who apply and qualify. Applications are now available on-line.
We look forward to serving your student this school year. For your convenience, breakfast and lunch are offered each school day.

What's New in Food Service?

Negative Food Service balance: We are using an automated phone calling service to notify families when their student has a negative balance.This is a courtesy reminder to let you know your student no longer has funds available to pay for school meals.
If you receive a phone call and have a question regarding your student’s account, please do not hesitate to call your school’s Food Service Manager. Please note the caller ID number is a generic Boise School District number.
