What's New in Food Service?
|
- New product testing-
The week of Nov. 9 during lunch at two elementary schools, Morley Nelson (November
10) and Maple Grove (November 12), we will be sampling a new product.
Students will have the chance to try Good Harbor Nacho Fish Sticks
and give us their feedback. Be sure to join us for lunch for Super
Samples!
- Teens Choice is coming to South Jr. High and West Jr. High.
During the week November 11th we will be doing a side by side comparison
of five different kinds of pizza. Two classrooms have agreed
to participate. Students will have a chance to sample, evaluate, and
give us their
opinion all of these products!
- Negative Food Service balance: After Nov. 16 we will be
using an automated phone calling service to notify families when their
student has a negative
balance.This is a courtesy reminder
to let you know your student no longer has funds available to pay for
school
meals.
If you receive a phone call and have a question regarding your
student’s
account, please do not hesitate to call your school’s Food Service
Manager. Please note the caller ID number is a generic Boise School
District number.
