Junior High School

Gifted students in grades 7-9 are served through Accelerated classes and flexible options. The following Accelerated classes are available at the junior high level:

  • Accelerated Reading 7
  • Accelerated English 7
  • Accelerated English 8
  • Accelerated English 9
  • Accelerated Mathematics 7 (Pre-Algebra)
  • Accelerated Mathematics 8 (Algebra 1)
  • Accelerated Algebra 2 (9th grade)
  • United States History 9: to 1900 (Accelerated) (9th grade)

Senior High School

Students in grades 10-12 are served through Advanced Placement, Accelerated classes and flexible options. Accelerated classes provide a substantial increase in tempo of content presentation and acquisition. Advanced Placement, a structure of The College Boards organization, affords students the opportunity to earn credit for completion of college-level coursework. The following Advanced Placement courses are available in the Boise School District:
