Program Highlights
- Weekly themes with hands on activities to enhance
cognitive skills
- Kindergarten Readiness Activities
Pre-reading activities, phonemic awareness, letter recognition, rhyming,
sequencing
Pre-math games, hands on math activities, patterning, one-to one correspondence,
matching, graphing, estimating, and calendar
- Handwriting practice – letters,
numbers and names
- Children are read to daily
- Children participate in small and large group
activity centers to learn cooperation, problem solving,
and sportsmanship
- Just For Kids staff work
in cooperation with the Kindergarten teachers to
ensure the Just For Kids
Kindergarten curriculum supports and enhances the
district’s curriculum
- Parent and child activity events
- Three summer field trips weekly included in monthly
tuition
- Kindergarten children are escorted to and from
Just For Kids to their classroom
- Daily United States Department of Agriculture
approved breakfast and afternoon snack included in
monthly tuition

Drop In childcare service is available at all school
age Just For Kids sites for children in grades K-6.
A child may drop in for a maximum of 6 days per month.
The drop in rate is $35.00 per day regardless of the
number of hours the child attends. If there is a field
trip on the day a child drops in there will be an additional
fee. A drop in Registration
Packet must be completed and submitted to the Just
For Kids district office with the daily fee before
the child may attend.
