How to Apply
Update: The Boise School
District is pleased to announce the date of the New
Certified Applicant Orientation for
the 2010-2011 school year.
The Orientation is scheduled for Tuesday,
February 16, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00
p.m. at the District Services Center at 8169
W. Victory Road in Boise.
The Orientation is designed to help applicants
understand the application process, subject
area screening, and the principal interview.
We encourage student teachers and new applicants
interested in working for the Boise School
District to attend.
This Orientation is only intended
for first time certified applicants who have
not previously applied.

Please note: The Boise School District
only accepts online applications unless otherwise noted.
Once you start your online application if you do not
submit your completed application within 30 days your
application will be automatically discarded. Applicants
must click on the submit button in the online application
in order for information to be saved. If you are awaiting
supporting materials (i.e. transcripts, letters etc.)
submit the online application to avoid losing data;
you may return back to the submitted online application
at any time and include additional materials.
Administrative Instructions
Administrative positions include Principal, Assistant
Principal, District Services Center Supervisor, etc.
Certified Instructions
Certified positions include Teachers, School Counselors,
Social Workers, Psychologists, etc.
Information about ABCTE (American
Board for Certification of Teacher Excellence).
Classified Instructions
Classified positions include School Support Assistant,
Administrative Assistant, Paraprofessionals (Special
Education Assistant, Tutors, Behavior Interventionist,
etc.), Facilities, Custodial, Child Care, OT/PT,
etc.
In-District Transfer
Instructions
For use by current Boise School District employees
applying for transfer within their same job classification.
If you are interested in a position outside your current
classification, you will need to submit the appropriate
application.
Substitute Instructions
Substitute positions include Certified and Classified.
