Our Community
The largest city in the state, Boise is located
in southwestern Idaho on the Boise River. It
is the county seat of Ada County, as well as
the capital of the State of Idaho. Boise's geographical
location, between the desert on the south and
the mountains on the north, provides it with
a moderate climate year round.
Boise offers many of the advantages of large
urban areas, without the many problems and disadvantages
which are often associated with them. Whatever
type of lifestyle you're looking for, you can
find it in the Boise area.
Our District
The Boise Independent School District is an
urban school district designed to meet the needs
of every boy and girl in our community. Our teachers
are dedicated professionals whose day-to-day
