Libraries & Instructional Media
Welcome!
The
school library has long been regarded as the cornerstone
of the school community - a learning hub integral to
teaching and learning. By providing teachers and students
with a full range of print and electronic resources
to support learning, the school library impacts student
achievement.
School libraries are much more than books. The school
library is a gathering place for people of all ages
and interests to explore and debate ideas. The library
media specialist, and paraprofessionals, working collaboratively
with all teachers, help students develop a love of
reading, become skilled users of ideas and information,
and explore the world through print and electronic
media resources.
