The
Boise School District has facilitated the development
of a Parent Community Advisory Council (BSD P/CAC).
- We value the critical role that parents and patrons
play in the success of students and the quality of
our schools.
- When parents, school staff, and District administration
develop meaningful connections the result is a vibrant
learning atmosphere and a cohesive and collaborative
school community.
- The Council provides two-way communication and
fosters an open dialog between the District and the
school community.
- The Council consists of three representatives
from each of the District’s schools, and several
other District programs. Two representatives are
parents and a third is a patron.
- BSD P/CAC members serve as representatives of their
school/program and bring to monthly meetings concerns,
questions, and ideas from their specific school or
program. The Council meets at the District Service
Center on the second Wednesday of each month during
the school year.
