My name is Ron Cowman.I currently teach 4th Grade at Amity
Elementary School.My teaching career
began in the Fall of 1980
in Wilder, Idaho.In 1983, the
Meridian
School District hired me to teach at the Middle School level as a 6th
Grade
teacher.My next teaching adventures
took me to the Boise School District and Taft Elementary as a 6th Grade
teacher.I transferred to Pierce Park
School in 1995
and taught 4th grade there until 2008.In
the Fall of 2008,I
began my
teaching career here at Amity Elementary.
My wife is a resource teacher at
Whittier Elementary in the
Boise School District.We have two
daughters, Sarah and Michelle, who are both pursuing careers in
education. Our family enjoys doing
outdoor activities
together and traveling back to Minnesota and Michigan to spend time
with
relatives at the family cabins.
