Darryl Gerber has been in the Boise School District
for over ten years. He received his
Bachelors degree from Washington
State University,
his Masters degree in Education from the University
of Washington and an
Educational
Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. Mr.
Gerber started in the district teaching
science at South Junior High. He moved on to become the Assistant
Principal at
Amity Elementary and then Fort
Boise Alternative High
School. Returning to
Amity Elementary as Principal is an honor and achievement he plans to
live up
to.
He and his wife Ali have a 7
year old son, Ethan, and a 4
year old daughter, Cori. He loves his
family
time and together they enjoy camping, bicycle riding and hanging out
together. Baseball is his favorite sport
and the Seattle Mariners is his team. He
boasts of attending the first Seattle Mariners game ever when he was 14
years
old. Go Mariners!
