Mr. Gerber has been in the Boise School District
since 1997. He received his Bachelors
degree from Washington State University,
his Masters Degree in Education from the University
of Washington, and an
Educational
Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho. Mr.
Gerber started in the district teaching
science at South Junior High. He moved
on to become the Assistant Principal at Amity
Elementary School
and then Fort
Boise Alternative High
School. Returning
to Amity Elementary as Principal is
a great honor for him.
Mr. Gerber loves spending time with his wife and
two
children. They enjoy camping, bicycle
riding, and hiking together. Baseball is
his favorite sport and the Seattle Mariners is his team.
He boasts of attending the first Seattle
Mariners game ever when he was 14 years old. Go
Mariners!
