Mrs. Parsons graduated from Whitworth
College in Spokane, Washington,
with a B.A. in Elementary Education and endorsements in Psychology and
Special
Education in 1998. She started teaching that same year at Amity. She
received
her M.A. in Educational Leadership from the University of Idaho
in 2001. She has taught first, second, and third grades, but second
grade is
her favorite! She and her husband have three sons and a dog. Mrs. Parsons does not have a lot of free time
because her children keep her busy. If she had time for hobbies, she
would
scrapbook, travel, and read mystery books.
