PLEASE No Food or Drink in the Library !

Circulation: Students must show valid BHS ID to check out materials.for four weeks and renew them as needed. Audio Books, including MP3 books, circulate for two weeks. Fines for overdue books are 10¢ per item, per school day. Reference books and items on the "Reserve Shelf" are available for overnight checkout only.

         CIRCULATION PERIODS

1. Regular books :       4 weeks
2. Audio books :          2 weeks
3. Reference books:     overnight only
4. Magazines:              1 week
5. All items may be renewed 2 times (more if no requests are pending)

         FINES & FEES

• Fines for overdue books are $ .10 per item, per school day.
• Reference books and Reserve books are fined at $1.00 per day, or $ .25 per class period for partial days.
• Audios and videos fines are $ .25 per day, due to the value of the materials.
• Lost items are charged at replacement cost (current market value) + $5.00 processing fee.

Computer use: Computers are available for student use and the District provides them to support and enhance the curriculum. Students must have a current Acceptable Use Policy on file and must carry valid BHS ID.

Printing:  Each student account is allotted 75 pages per semester.  After that, the library charges $ .10 per page, or $ .25 per page of graphics (pictures).

Photocopies:  The library provides a pay copier for student use.  Copies are $ .10 per page, or students may purchase a copy card for $1.00 and add money to the card periodically.
