The Salvation Army Booth Family Care Center

An onsite Day Care/Learning Lab is available for Marian Pritchett School students and their babies.

• Babies are accepted from age one week to 2 years with a baby to staff ratio maximum of 6:1.
• The day care has three full-time staff members: a teacher, a worker and an aide.
• The staff reinforces positive parenting skills and assists young women in developing good baby care skills.
• A high school elective credit for students who register for the Day Care Learning Lab as a class. Staff members supervise students in caring for babies.

Hours of operation:

• School year (in accordance with the Boise District calendar) 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• The daycare is not open in the summer.

Ages:

• School year: birth to two years

Requirements:

• The day care charges $525 per month for care of your child while you are in school. If this causes financial hardship for you and/or your family, the social worker will assist you in applying for the Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP).
• Immunization records are requested upon admittance of a baby to day care. Immunization records must be provided within fourteen (14) days following the baby turning two months old.
