E.T.I. 1 & 2
Elementary Teacher Intern
This off-campus program allows students with an interest in elementary
education the opportunity to work with a local elementary school and gain
information about the education field.
During the first year program students will work directly with an
elementary classroom as well as being trained as a reading tutor. The second year student works with the elementary resource program to
assist with the elementary schools needs.
Both programs offer the opportunity to receive hands-on experience that
has great impact on the high school student as well as the elementary students
they have contact with.
This program offers concurrent enrollment with
Boise State
University. ETI 1 receives 3 college credits and ETI 2 receives 3 college credits.
ETI 1&2 is offered through the Family & Consumer Science department, Theresa
Golis, instructor.
