Dear Parents,

Welcome to Collister Elementary School, proud home of the Eagles. We are excited about another school year and look forward to working with you and your children. I am also excited to be the new principal at Collister and eager to carry on the tradition of academic excellence.

Collister Elementary has a long history of providing an outstanding academic program for every student who enters our doors. Our teachers and staff are dedicated professionals who passionately strive for academic success in a safe and friendly learning environment. We firmly believe that all children learn best in a setting that is positive and encouraging, and we dedicate ourselves whole-heartedly to providing that.

The teachers and staff also believe in building strong relationships with parents and local community members in order to ensure that all our students receive a well rounded education. In addition to our outstanding regular classrooms, Collister also offers four magnet classrooms for highly gifted students, and a model classroom setting that serves students with emotional needs.

We strongly encourage you to visit our school, talk with our teachers and staff, and participate in our PTO and in our volunteer programs. You will find us to be a warm and caring community focused on student achievement and academic success.
