WELCOME TO COLLISTER!

Welcome to Collister Elementary--a small neighborhood school nestled near the foothills in northwest Boise where children are challenged to risk, learn, play and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our positive and professional staff provides an instructional program that meets the needs of students who come to us below grade level as well as challenging those students needing enrichment. In addition to our regular grade-level classrooms, we have a model classroom setting that serves students with emotional needs as well as four magnet classrooms for highly gifted students.

Christina Olson retired on January 25th, 2008. Bruce Herron will be the interim principal for the remainder of the 2007-2008 school year. Christine Haggerty, currently principal at McKinley Elementary, will become Collister's new principal starting in August 2008.
