After graduating, I subbed in the district for two years, primarily
doing long term placements. I then started working at Jefferson
Elementary ½ time in Kindergarten and ½ time doing Title
One. After 3 years at Jefferson, I began working at Hawthorne
Elementary in the third grade. Family:
I met my husband here in Boise when the two of us were attending
college. We dated for two years and were married in 1992. We enjoyed
our time together traveling, camping, hiking, and finishing our
degrees. After 7 years we had our first child in 1999. We had our
second child in 2004. I would describe us as a busy, but very happy
family. We enjoy camping with relatives in the summer. It is hard to
pull us out of the mountains!!
Hobbies:
I enjoy scrapbooking (which I don’t get time to do), camping,
rollerblading, reading good books, and taking long walks with my family. Other information:
I just LOVE gummie bears, dark chocolate, 80’s music, fuzzy socks, and
my electric blanket!!!
