Hidden Springs

Welcome to Hidden Springs Elementary!

On behalf of the staff at Hidden Springs Elementary please allow me to welcome you to our school. Hidden Springs Elementary is the newest K-6 school to join the Boise School District and we are excited to become part of such a successful learning community. Hidden Springs embraces the Harbor School Method which centers on the belief that when students are given a learning environment with low threat to their personal safety and self esteem, and highly challenging academic content, the inevitable outcome is accelerated learning. We also encourage active parent and community involvement and believe that these groups help contribute to the excellence of our school. If you have any comments or questions please do not hesitate to contact me at or feel free to call me at 229-4727.

Thank You,
Brett Forrey
Principal

Yearbooks Update
2012 Yearbooks Sold Out

Thank you for the overwhelming response and support of the yearbook. We have once again sold out and have started a waitlist.

IMPORTANT
If you have NOT received an email confirming receipt of your payment from Teresa McMillan, then we DO NOT have an order for you. We did not sell yearbooks at the beginning of this school year. Contact Anita Lochner with questions or concerns: aplochner@ctcweb.net

WAIT LIST
We are compiling a wait list. If you are interested, please submit your payment with order form to the school. Order forms can be found here. Important note: We will make every effort to fulfill as many waitlisted orders as possible after the books come in. They are expected to arrive the last week of school. If you do not receive a yearbook, your payment will be returned in full.
HSES School Carnival
The end of year carnival will be held at the school on May 18th from 5:30-8:30 and we are looking for volunteers to help out before, during, and after the event. Some of you have already indicated that you would like to help out with the carnival...thank you! We will still need you to sign up online for the activity(s) and shift(s) you want to help with. We are again using an online service to keep track of who has volunteered for what. If you would like to help out, please take a few minutes and go out to the link below to sign up as a carnival volunteer. You will be sent an email from our event page where you can proceed to sign up for the shift and activity you want to volunteer at. There are some sixth graders that will be volunteering through their teachers. Those shifts and volunteers are clearly identified in the system. Please do not sign up for a sixth grade shift. We are also looking for pop-up shade and folding tables we can borrow. If you have one or both of these we can use for the carnival, use the same link below to sign up for that. Thank you again for your help and support. There will be more information coming your way soon, but if you have any questions or concerns, please let us know.
