Counseling at Hillcrest

Our Mission is to create, implement, and responsibly manage opportunities for all students to achieve their educational potential and become responsible, contributing citizens.  Hillcrest Elementary will endeavor to build strong intellectual, social and moral values.

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday

Focus areas: 

• Classroom guidance: Lessons k-6 in conflict management, academic skills, safety and career awareness.
• Small groups: Groups are offered in family changes, friendship skills, anger control, support group and grief counseling.
• Individual work with students
• Parent education: Love and Logic
• Mentoring: We have mentoring from the Idaho National Air Guard
