My Job Description: To teach that reading has a purpose and is a pleasure and a privilege. To teach that words carry important messages, create incredible pictures, and convey great and wonderful ideas. To instill in the students the idea, "When you have a book, you are never alone".

My Philosophy: In our classroom we believe in personal growth, the right to learn. We believe in order not chaos, dignity and respect for all. We expect accountability and we value the thoughts and ideas of everyone.

My family: My wife, Sheri, a daughter, a son, and granddaughter.

What I Like to Do: I like to coach, eat fine foods, walk or bike for exercise, and go to my cabin in Smith's Ferry, Idaho.
