I graduated from Boise State University in 1985 with a Bachelor
of Science in Physical Education and a minor in Mathematics. I
received my Master's in Education from Azusa Pacific University
in Azusa, California in 1989. Before coming to Hillside
Jr. High, I taught at Covina High School in Covina, California
(about 20 minutes east of Los Angeles). While there,
I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Math "A", Geometry, and Algebra
2. I also coached Varisty Girls' Cross Country and Track,
as well as Freshman Girls' Basketball.
Here at Hillside I teach all 9th Grade classes and also coach
the 9th Grade "A" volleyball team during the fall and the 7th
grade "A/B" volleyball team in the spring.
I am available for conferences before and after school (depending
on my coaching schedule). Please call your student's
counselor to set up a time and date if you wish to have a conference
with me.
