Hello! My name is Mrs. Randolph. This is my
fourth year here at Hillside. I teach Modified English and Math
classes and also study skills. I am located in Room 18. You
can call and leave a message during the day and I will get back to you
as soon as possible. You can also reach me by e-mail.
A little about myself. I was born and raised on
Long Island, New York. I came to Idaho to attend the University
of Idaho. I caught a lot of grief at home about going to school
in Idaho, but after 20+ years I'm still here! I'm married to a
wonderful man and we have two daughters. Both of my daughters
attend Hillside, so I understand what it is like to live with a
teenager - wonderful and challenging all in the same breath.
This is my 10th year of teaching. I taught five
years in Vancouver, Washington and in the Meridian School
District. I then took 8 years off to stay home with my
kids. This is my 5th year back. For some reason, I tend to
gravitate toward junior high aged students. Out of the 10 years
of
teaching, 8 of them have been at this level. I love the energy
and excitement at this level. There is a lot of inquisitiveness
and also speculation. It's an exciting time for them - they're
done with elementary school, they're done with having just one teacher
all day, and they can ALMOST drive, They are ALMOST in high school, and
the list goes on. I enjoy getting to know students and I take an
interest in each and every one. I treat each of them with
respect and expect the same in return. Please feel free to
contact me with any concerns which you may have.
