The Teacher:
I am an Idaho native who was raised
and educated in Boise. I am one of the few people who can say that I have
always lived in the same three block radius of Boise's North end. I have
always enjoyed old houses and have totally restored the one in which I
live.
I graduated Cum Laude from Saint
Martin's College in Lacey, Washington, with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary
Education. I have since continued my education receiving over fifty-eight
credits from Boise State University, Northwest Nazarene College, University
of Idaho, and Portland State University. I received my Master's Degree in Educational Technology in 2003 from Lesley University. I received my second Master's Degree in Literacy in 2007.
I have been teaching since 1983
in the Boise area. I have taught at St. Mary's, Whitney, and Horizon Elementary
Schools. I have taught fourth grade, fifth grade, and sixth grade.
Besides restoring my house, I
enjoy music, gardening, and woodworking. I also enjoy relaxing at my property
in Cascade.
Please take a look at the other
pages of the web site. They include my Classroom Management Plan, examples
of student's artwork and writing, and some pages to help my students with projects and studying for tests. Thank you for visiting!
