At the beginning of the school year, and as new students enroll
at Jefferson, we review and agree to follow the rules of the
library.

Come in to the library quietly and use quiet voices.

Always walk in the library.

Each student is responsible for all items checked out in
their name.

After checking out your book, sit and read quietly.

Handle all library material with care to avoid soiling,
tearing or loss. If you damage a book due to neglect,
you will be charged for the replacement of the book.
- Make every effort to return library items on time. Items
are checked out for one (1) week but
may be renewed. After 30 calendar days a book is
considered lost and you will be charged
for replacement.

Use good manners and be considerate of others. The library
is for the enjoyment of everyone.

Remember to try and read at least 20 minutes everyday.
- Checkouts Allowed:
Kindergarten-- 1 (last quarter)
1st Grade-- 1 Book
2nd to 6th Grade -- 2 Books
Gate-- 3 Books
- NO CHECKOUTS DURING CHRISTMAS OR SPRING BREAK
