Welcome to Grace Jordan Elementary!
We are excited to be one of Boise School District’s
recently consolidated elementary schools. We opened in August 2008,
bringing together approximately 550 students from McKinley, Franklin,
and Jackson Elementary Schools, in preschool through 6th grade.
We are fortunate to have an experienced and
professional staff at Grace Jordan Elementary. We offer a variety of
special services and programs. Our Title I team offers additional
academic support to all of our children. Our English Language Learners
program, Special Education Preschool program, and Special Education
classrooms provide valuable assistance tailored to the needs of our
unique student population. We are also thrilled to provide students
with an enhanced technological experience, because a SMART Board is
utilized in every classroom!
On-site at Grace Jordan we have a Just for Kids Child Care Program and a
community center operated by Boise Parks and Recreation. This community center
is an exciting joint venture between the Boise School District and the
City of Boise. Both of these programs benefit students beyond the
school day.
The Grace Jordan staff believes in strong parental
involvement, and we look forward to getting you involved. Please call
