Elementary School

We are proud to say that Koelsch has been part of the Boise School District for over 50 years. Our school has consistently provided outstanding educational opportunities for children throughout our neighborhoods and community.

Koelsch School serves a wide diversity of students from all over the world. Our enrollment is approximately 400 students. Currently, we have over 100 English Language Learners (ELL) speaking 19 different languages.

Koelsch School has an active PTO and volunteer program providing great support to staff and students. Our staff welcomes you to visit and hope you enjoy our school.

CURRENT EVENTS & NOTES
  • H1N1 Vaccination Clinic scheduled for BSD students is onhold until further notice!  Please refer to the district homepage for more information!
  • Koelsch Walking Club happens every Wednesday during the lunch hour!  Let's see how many miles we can walk this year!  Wear your walking shoes!

  • Wednesday, November 25th:  Early Dismissal at 1:15pm
  • Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th:  No School         Happy Thanksgiving!
  • Friday, December 4th:  Choir, Band, and Orchestra concert at 9:15am
  • Thursday, December 10th:  4th, 5th, and 6th grade Christmas Program   --Dress Rehearsal at 2:00pm  --Regular Program at 7:00pm
