Library Policies

At the beginning of the year, and as new students enroll at Koelsch, we review and agree to follow the rules of the library.

• Come into the library quietly and use a soft voice.
• After checking out, relax and enjoy your book.
• Return library books on time. Books can be renewed!
• Each student is responsible for all materials checked out in his/her name.
• After 30 days a book is considered lost and the student will be charged for replacement.
• Handle all library material with care to avoid damage. If a book is damaged due to neglect, the student will be charged for replacement.
• Try and read at least 20 minutes every day!

Books are checked out for one week at a time, but can be renewed.

• First graders can check out one book.
• Grades 2-6 can check out two books.
