Your Parent-Teacher Organization

The Koelsch PTO is made up of school staff members and parents. Anyone with an interest in our school or our students can attend PTO meetings.

The PTO board is made up of these positions:

• President
• 1st Vice President (Fundraising)
• 2nd Vice President (Staff Appreciation)
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Nominating Committee Chair
• Volunteer Committee Chair
• Carnival Committee Chair
• Campbell's Label's/box tops

Principal Kurt Thaemert and Ms. Bush are the designated staff members of the PTO board. To contact any PTO board member, call them directly or leave a message for them at the school.

The Koelsch PTO's mission is to give any parent or interested adult the opportunity to improve our school. The group organizes an annual carnival, an election day bake sale, and other activities to raise money to be used entirely for the improvement of Koelsch School. In past years money raised by the PTO has purchased playground equipment and tables and benches, and provided field trip money to classes. You can help decide how this year's funds will be spent by attending PTO meetings and letting the group know what you think is important to our school.

Please attend any regular monthly PTO meeting, and volunteer in any way you can. The time you spend on Koelsch's behalf in the school, at home, and in the community will help make our school a great one, and our students the strongest!
