Grade Reports
Student Progress Reports will be coming home approximately every three to four weeks. This provides you with feedback on the progress of your child. You can us the Student Progress Report as a tool to help you and your child monitor progress. You can use it to set GPA goals for the next progress report.
Example: If your child has a 77% GPA in a certain class, set a goal of raising their GPA to 83% by the next grade report. The goal may be varied for each student depending upon the student's skill level.
Keep in mind that at the first of the year your child is learning the requirements of our classroom and adjusting the new grade. Consequently this fact may be reflected in their first grade report. This is due largely to the fact that some initial low grades averaged in to so few grades may result in an initial low GPA. Most students make the needed adjustments and refocus their energies towards their studies after the first grade report comes out.
Report Cards will be issued every nine weeks.
