WHAT'S HAPPENING AT Maple Grove
WORD OF THE MONTH
Every month we have a library search question on the bulletin board
outside the library. Find the answer and put it in the "Happy
Face" can. Your name may be picked to choose something out of our
Treasure Chest.
GENRE OF THE MONTH
Every month we have a different genre of book to read for
library. After reading the book, students may fill out a short
book review and they may win a great prize at the end of the month.
Maple, the traveling bear is still on the
move. Last school year Maple went to 19 states, South America,
England and Viet Nam. Maple and his friends love to travel and
share their experiences with everyone at school. If you are
planning a trip, stop by the library and get a reservation slip for
Maple or one of his friends. His calendar fills up fast,
especially around school holidays and summer. We have a scrapbook
in the library of all the places Maple and his friends traveled
last year. Please stop by and look through the memories.
BOOK FAIR Our book fair will be March 2-5, 2009. Our
Family Night will be Tuesday, March 3. Along with the Book
Fair Family Night, we will have a Family Tech Night.
