This is my 13th year in the Boise
District. I began teaching sixth grade in Middleton, ID, and I
also taught fifth and sixth grades in Cedar Hill, TX, a suburb of
Dallas. When we moved back to Boise, I taught 7th and 8th grades
at Fairmont Junior High before moving into administration last year.
I graduated from Borah High here in town and received my BA in English
and Elementary Education from (Albertson) College of Idaho. I did
graduate work in Composition at WSU in Pullman and taught English
Composition for a year to college freshmen as part of that
program. I completed my Masters in Educational Leadership at the
University of ID.
My husband and I have two kids in college – Christopher is a senior at
Albertson and Erin is a sophomore at Seattle University.
I love dogs, books, movies, music, hiking, camping, and
traveling. And I am excited to be working at Maple Grove!
