Mrs. Troutner was born and raised in the
Treasure Valley. She graduated from Boise State University with a
BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Reading. She is certified
to teach all subjects K-8 and Reading K-12. She has taught in the
Boise School District for fifteen years.
Jan has two kids. Both are married. She has two
grandchildren with one on the way. She loves camping, movies,
traveling, reading, theater arts, and teaching. Though she has
traded in her skiis for snowshoes, her favorite place to be is in the
mountains
