Dear Maple Grove
Parents and Students,
I am so pleased to
be here as the Assistant Principal and look forward to a great year of
academic growth for your children.
I grew up in
Denver, Colorado and came to Idaho with my parents and brother in 1974.
I graduated from Boise State University and moved to Portland, Oregon.
I received my MAT from Lewis and Clark College in 1996, the same year
my beautiful daughter Alexa was born. My very active son, Jason, turns
7 this week. When I wasn’t chasing after them, I was working towards my
Administrative/Educational Specialist degree and an endorsement in
Gifted Education.
I have taught
school since 1989, all in elementary education. I taught in Portland,
Oregon for 9 years and worked for the Oregon State Department of
Education before returning to Boise. I have taught fourth, fifth, and
sixth grades including a Full-time Gifted Classroom.
Maple Grove School
is a very special place. Already I have learned it is a community of
learners where there is respect among highly qualified professional
staff and amazing parental support. It is with delight that I become
familiar with each student and observe them as they problem solve,
critically think, work on a team, contribute in class, and have fun
learning and growing socially.
Please feel free
to call me with questions or concerns #854-5540 or just stop by my
office and introduce yourself. The best time to catch me is Monday,
Tuesday or Wednesday morning. My email is susan.wolfe@boiseschools.org.
We are going to have a wonderful year!
Best regards,
Susan Wolfe
