Monroe is a neighborhood school built in 1954. We have approximately
300 students in grades K-6 and a staff dedicated to putting
children first and using best practices in the classroom
to meet the needs of every student.
Monroe Elementary
is a wonderful
place to work and learn! Our small size allows us the opportunity to really
know our students and their families. Not only classroom teachers, but
all staff particpate in the education of your
child. We celebrate your child's strengths and work with you on the challenges
your student may face academically and socially. It is our desire to have
strong parental involvement in our school through volunteer work
and our PTA. If you would like to know more about Monroe,
please do not hesitate to either call me or drop
by. My door is always open!
