Reading Assignments: You may be seeing some "0" grades in the books for some of your child's quizzes. Here's the story: We do a reading assignment. They fill out the main idea sheet. They take a quiz, but they can use the main idea sheet on the quiz. If they do not score an 80% on the quiz, I enter 0 in the grade book until they show me their main ideas. If they are completed satisfactorily, I enter the grade. If not, they do them over until they are done correctly.
