My name is Cary Hill. I grew up in Huston, a small rural community west of Caldwell, Idaho. I attended Vallivue Schools until my graduation from high school in 1992. I earned my degree in Mathematics from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho in 1996 and returned to NNU the following year to complete my Math Education degree. I taught 1 year at Caldwell High School and 6 years at Vallivue High School before coming to Boise's North Junior High in 2004. In my 11 years of teaching experience, I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, and Advanced Placement Statistics. I also earned my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NNU in 2001.
I have been married to my incredible wife, Jennifer, since December 1996. We live in Nampa with our two children, Tanner & Alisa. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family, working on landscaping projects, going to our family cabin in Cascade, singing at church, and collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia.
