week, so please ask to see it, sign a copy, and have your child return it to
North for extra credit in one core class of his or her choice.
Math: Algebra~ sections 3.3 to 3.5 on solving equations with a quiz on Friday.
Geometry~ sections 2.5 to 2.8 with a Chapter 2 test September 30th. Pre-Algebra~
sections 1.5 to 1.7 and a quiz on Friday.
History: Overview of the 13 original colonies with map work nightly. Test on
September 29th covering pre-Columbian, age of exploration, European claims and
the 13 colonies.
Science: Properties of gases and gas laws this week, with a quiz on Friday.
English: We will be reading and discussing a number of interesting short stories
this week.
