What is Accelerated Reader

Accelerated Reader is a computer based supplemental reading program designed to help motivate, monitor and manage student reading practice.

Books that have an AR test available are coded with a colored dot to help students find books in their reading range.

Owyhee Elementary Accelerated Reader Color Coding:

• View Accelerated Reader Lists - These are tests and books we have at Owyhee. You can access them by title, author, reading level, or point level. They are large files, so please be patient.
• Accelerated Reader Quizzes - This is a link to Renaissance Learning to check availability of an AR test for a book you own.
