"Zach's Lie" by Roland Smith.  Jack Osborne and his family enter the Witness Protection Program. Jacks struggles with his new identity as Zach, but just when he begins to get a handle on it...information leaks out.
"Emma Kate"  by Patricia Polacco. Emma Kate and her best friend do practically everything together. What a friend! Read and be surprised at the end of the book.
