Welcome to third grade! I grew up in Montana where the winters are long and the skiing is fabulous. I studied education at the University of Utah (so I could ski) and Portland State where I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. I moved to Boise in 1980 and began teaching, raising three great kids, and enjoying the great outdoors. In 1998 I completed a Master's Degree in Reading at Boise State. I have been teaching students in first, second, and third grades for almost thirty years. Among my immediate family and relatives there are 10 past and present educators. That's a lot of knowledge!

I am excited to be educating such a fine group of students this year. My primary goal is to develop a cooperative, considerate, and challenging learning environment for students and parents. The purposes of this website are providing information and resources to assist in the education process in addition to displaying students' work. We work hard every day and we are proud of our successes! Feel free to email me with questions, concerns, or compliments.
