My love for
teaching began at an early age. When I was in second grade I would get
all the neighborhood kids together and become their teacher. If they weren’t
available I would teach my stuffed animals. My desire to be a teacher
continued throughout my years in school. My high school math teacher encouraged
me to pursue my ambition and I reached my goal. I loved to learn and enjoyed
my years in school because of the great teachers I had that formed my
philosophy on teaching. I believe every child is important and has the right to learn. Each child learns in a different way which inspires me to treat each child as an individual and teach to many learning styles. I show respect to each student and they in turn respect me and each other. Even though every child is an individual, we still have to work together as a team. I promote teamwork which encourages a positive classroom environment. |
