As
a teacher I have the great privilege to be part of a child's career as a
student. With this privilege comes the great responsibility to create a
positive and meaningful experience for my students. Education is more important
now than ever. I want to create a positive experience that my students will
never forget and will keep them interested in school and learning for many
years to come. Through my teaching I will provide many opportunities for my visual, kinesthetic,auditory and tactile learners to be successful. I will do this by providing many different activities and approaches to learning. I understand that each student is unique and active learner with his or her own rate of growth.
In my classroom I focus on the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical aspects of each student and their opportunity to grow in each of these areas. In my classroom I am constantly encouraging and teaching my students to be caring, honest, curious, creative, confident and happy individuals. Trail Wind has an active participation from parents, staff members, the Accelerated Learning Center and administration. With the help of these participants the students who enter the doors of this school are provided with the very best in quality education.
