Wednesday's Computer Lab Assignments:
1.) Type to Learn for 10 minutes
2.) Choose one of the following assignments:
Create at least two cards from any story you've read as a fifth grader. Print them out.
Follow the tutorial. Print it out.
3.) Once your whole moviemaking group has completed one of the assignments above, work together on your script.
4.) If you whole script is complete, you may have educational free time. Fifth graders in room 15 will be exposed to, and expected to become competent at, many different types of technology including, but not limited to: Internet Web Quests Word Processing & Formatting File Management PowerPoint Presentations Digital Photography Movie Making Photo story
I have some equipment, but quantities are
limited. If you have a digital camera or digital video camera that your child
could use at school, please let me know. This would really help to
expand the opportunities available to the kids. Also, if you have any good
ideas on how to integrate technology into the curriculum, I am always looking
for more ways to do this, so please share!!!
NOTE: It is not required, but it would be very handy if each student had a
flash drive of some sort so they can transfer data from school to home and back
again. Each student will have their own folder on the Trail Wind network
to store data here at school. |
