Summer is fast approaching.  I hope you will have tons of fun with your family and friends.  Don't forget to add reading to your list of summer activities.  Several summer reading programs will make it fun and rewarding.

Treasure Valley libraries such as Boise Public, Garden City, and Ada Community libraries are sponsoring summer reading programs and offering great prizes.  Some of those prizes include a free pass from the Boise Hawks Baseball Club, the Snake River Stampede Rodeo, and the Discovery Center of Idaho; PLUS, a coupon from Roundtable Pizza.

Go to the following webistes for more information on the Treasure Valley libraries' summer reading programs.

Barnes and Noble also offers a summer reading program.  After reading eight books and filling out a short reading journal, you will be awarded a free book.  Get more information at their website:

There's lots of fun to be had this summer and much of it begins with a good book.

ENJOY!
