2008/2009 School Year
Well, the 2008/2009 school year is well underway and the students are excited to see all of the new books that have arrived!
We have new books that were donated to our library this summer, and we have many new books that Mrs. Faber ordered -- and they have all arrived. But the best news of all is that we received grant money from the Boise Public Schools Education Foundation. The money allowed us to buy many books that support the curriculum for the 1st - 3rd graders. That means that we bought lots of books about plants, insects, habitats, seasons, weather, pilgrims, Native Americans, art and much more! A big "Thank You!" goes to the Boise Public Schools Education Foundation, and to all who have contributed to that foundation to make this possible! Also -- Be aware that our Fall Book Fair is coming! It will be held the week of November 3rd! I have already seen some of the books that will be coming and they look GREAT!!!! Be saving your money and then ... Join us!!!
